Specialty Fasteners & Components (SFC) is to trade under the name Clarendon Specialty Fasteners

Following the acquisition of Specialty Fasteners & Components (SFC) by Clarendon in 2014, the businesses will now trade under the unified name with effect from 1 February 2017.

In the two years that have elapsed since SFC was acquired, many changes have been implemented, with the objective of providing a more complete service to its customer base in its core aerospace, defence, motorsport and industrial markets.

John Hunt, managing director, on Specialty Fasteners, pictured above visiting the company's Totnes facility, is confident that the brand is now in a very strong position. “The SFC design and manufacture capabilities are an important part of our service offering, which we can more readily promote to our customers, if we trade under a single brand. Combining SFC’s capabilities with Clarendon’s growing range of ‘off the shelf’ fastening products enables customers to benefit from greater choice, availability and innovation," he said.

“In addition to the existing sites in Leicester and Swindon, we will continue to invest in the Totnes facility, which will remain our centre for design and manufacture,” concludes Hunt.
