Advanex confirms new factory In Czech Republic

Advanex has confirmed the opening the new manufacturing site in the Czech Republic in Spring 2019.

The new purpose-built 7,300m2 factory will be located in Horní Počernice. The factory comes as part of the company’s ambitious growth plans in Europe, with this particular move seeing Advanex invest €5 million in the Czech Republic over the next five years.

As a leading supplier of precision components, the new factory will be largely focused on manufacturing precision deep drawn metal components, stampings, springs and pressings.

The P3 logistics park on which the new Advanex factory will be located is the largest within the Czech Republic. The facility will be designed to accommodate two floors of office space and will have the latest machinery and production lines. Advanex will embark upon a recruitment drive, boosting employment in the local area.

Steve Antcliff, director of Advanex Czech Republic, commented: “We are proud to be launching our new facility as part of our multi-million pound global strategy to grow the business. Locating our new facility in Horni Počernice is an ideal location, offering a balance between the strong economy, along with a highly skilled labour force. This will, in turn, create a platform to develop business within mainland Europe.”

The launch of the new factory will be celebrated with an ‘open door’ event, allowing those attending the opportunity to meet the company, people and facility.

Globally, Advanex have operations in 23 countries, including the UK, Japan, China, America and Thailand, and produces a range of metal components used in the automotive and medical markets.
