Adhesives and tapes
Platinum bonding tapes and bonding adhesive will be highlighted on the stand of Empire Tapes at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at the RAF Museum, Cosford, on 30 April.
"These products offer a unique bonding performance in tape format and in cartridge format", claims Dean Sherriff, managing director.
"Based on hybrid polymer technology the tapes and adhesive are engineered to perform in areas of bonding, sealing, masking, and strapping unlike any other. Application barriers that are associated with conventional products are eliminated."
Tape in the new range is stated to be able to bond to virtually all porous and non-porous materials. "It is suited for use in applications in which straight line tapes cannot be used; it is solvent-free and resists extreme temperatures", says Dean Sherriff.
