25 years of gas springs
Industrial Gas Springs has announced that it is celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of its establishment in 1983.
The company "provides a one-stop shop for all of the requirements of industrial gas spring users", says Linda Joseph, IGS. "For stock products 24-hour dispatch is offered; in addition, a sample service will provide springs for most applications within a few days. This is supported by in-house design services."
IGS operates from its headquarters in Mitcham, Surrey - a 7000m² site which includes a machine shop operating CNC lathes for the manufacture of components in addition to assembly, test, and paint facilities. The manufacturing operation has been expanded recently by the acquisition of new machine tools and "more development is planned in order to improve the assembly operation and, on the systems side, to further improve throughput and delivery".
