Users call the shots in two pack dispensing

1 min read

A huge variation in the application requirements demanded from different industries has driven the recent range extension of mixing and dispense equipment for processing two-part adhesives, sealants and encapsulants available from Meter Mix Systems.

A recent project with a major European manufacturer of kitchen appliances requiring a 0.2cc metered volume of mixed adhesive at a mix ratio of 10:1 prompted the development of the PAR2P micro-shot dispensing machine. A similar requirement of shot size, but with the additional element of slow, controlled dispense rates of a two part polyurethane for a client within the electronics industry, resulted in the electrically driven PAR2E. Conversely, alongside the development of these two machines, a requirement for large output dispensing of high viscosity materials for applications such as structural glazing, wind turbine blade bonding and boat building has resulted in the PAR200G machine capable of dispensing at an output of 12kg/min. The Meter Mix product range is specifically designed to provide solutions to dispensing problems and to satisfy such a diverse and ever increasing range of applications coupled with vastly differing material characteristics, the company claims. Visitors to the forthcoming IASE exhibition at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on 21st October will have an opportunity to come and talk to Meter Mix Systems representatives about specific applications.
